Alone Again
Relationships are hard to mend when they begin to fall apart. Often we carry our problems with us from one relationship to the next. When things go sour and nothing seems right, we fall into darkness and despair. And we find ourselves alone... again.
Crucifixion
He paid the penalty of our sin for us so that we can come to God, pure and spotless. By His wounds we were healed.
My Father's World
This is my Father’s world
And to my listening ears,
All nature sings and round me rings
The music of the spheres.
This is my Father’s world,
I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas,
His hand, the wonders wrought.

The Lilly Pond
Environmental Series
Ripples lapping at the pond's edge leave the lily pads rocking in the wake. This is the home of many a frog and fish and water bugs of all types. These plants provide shelter and protection for many that lurk beneath their sprawling leaves. In due season, this will be a floating flower garden, giving a whole new dimension to the lily pond.
Morning Dew Drop
Environmental Series
In the still morning light the pools along the creek lie silent and tranquil. Suddenly a dew drop from an overhanging branch radiates across the surface of the water.
I walked a mile in the other guy's shoes ...
... and now I know why he got rid of them.
Success Pool
"Success Pool" is my statement about the many people who try to get to the top by using other people. They splash and sputter, wiggle and squirm to try to snatch the bread away from the others. They never seem to get enough of being the "big fish" in the pool, and they don't seem to care who they put under in the process.
The Skeptic
Maybe this is you. No, not the man in the photo, but a person who can't bring yourself to put your trust in God.
Go ahead. You can trust Him. He sent His Son to live among us so that we could really see what He is like and how much He cares for us. Yes, even you.
His Revealing Light
When we look at ourselves in light of what we see around us, we're not that bad. So what is all this stuff about sin? We're basically good people . . . aren't we?
But when we look at God and begin to realize His purity and holiness, we begin to see ourselves as we truly are... filthy, entangled in our own world of grime and filth. His presence reveals our secret thoughts, attitudes and actions. Nothing can be hidden from His revealing light.
